Zumzeig is a non-profit, cooperative cinema on Carrer de Béjar in Barcelona's Sants-Montjuïc district. Founded in October 2013 and run as a worker cooperative since November 2016, it shows independent cinema in original version and hosts film presentations, talks with filmmakers, film club sessions and other cultural events. The building also has a bistrot.
Zumzeig lists Sants (L5), Tarragona (L3) and Hostafrancs (L1) as metro stations. One of the building's entrances and the cinema entrance are adapted for visitors with reduced mobility. In the auditorium, one seat in row 7 and five seats in row 1 have space for a wheelchair, and there is an adapted toilet. There is no induction loop. The cinema's accessibility page has the details.
Zumzeig describes its own programme as independent cinema in original version, and it also shows films in languages other than English. Its labels such as VO and VOSE do not mean English audio. Our listings here are for English-audio screenings.
