Cinema Maldà is a cinema on Carrer del Pi in Barcelona. It describes its approach as giving films a second chance, and its programme mixes recent releases with earlier titles and film marathons.
The cinema shows its films in original version, usually with subtitles, and some films are in Catalan. For families, the cinema also hosts morning sessions for families with babies, with softer sound, a little light left on in the room, and space to bring a pram in. At these sessions there is also a changing table and a quiet corner in the hall.
