Espai Texas is a cinema, theatre and bar on Carrer de Bailèn in Gràcia. A cinema first opened at this address in 1912, and since 2023 it has run as Espai Texas. The cinema side has two screens and describes its programme as a mix of new releases and re-releases, with a priority on Catalan-language exhibition. The bar is open to visitors before and after the film.
On the operator's own programme, "versió original" means the film in its original language and "VOSC" means original version with Catalan subtitles. Neither by itself means English audio, and the cinema also shows some films dubbed into Catalan. Our listings here are for English-audio screenings.
The hall and bar are step-free from the street, with an adapted toilet on that floor. The screening rooms are on the lower level (-1) and are reached by a stairlift rated to 150 kg; the cinema says there is no alternative route for a chair and user above that weight.
